A 3.5% Iodine preparation, effective against a wide range of bacteria
Medigene Handwash I is a mild detergent hand cleanser with the anti-microbial power of Iodine. This product is especially suited for use as a pre-surgical hand wash.
Iodine is a highly efficient microbicide with a wide range of antimicrobial efficacy with no recorded resistance by microorganisms. Adding a solubilizing agent to form an iodophor, slows the release, making it even more effective against microbes. Iodophors are widely used as antiseptics for the prevention and treatment of wounds.
